The White Poppy Series

 

The White Poppy Series is another of my experiments with light and the potential of a white
blossom floating in darkness. I made the images by way of multiple exposure and by
“writing” on petals with a laser pointer. The collection is influenced by the concept of
Heliotropism, the natural movement of a flower toward light and by serendipity, as I never
know what the effect will be until I see the resulting 120mm negative.
